The Holy Spirit—The Holy Spirit was sent by God to help His children do whatever He needs them to do.

The promise is called the Davidic Covenant. God told David that one of his descendants would rule over God’s people forever.

  6. How did David respond when he sinned? How did Saul and Solomon respond when they sinned?
David confessed and asked for God’s forgiveness. Saul made excuses for his sin, and Solomon pretended like nothing happened.
